Our First Newsletter

A quick note: We’re celebrating the release of our first newsletter and decided to post on the blog.

Dear Friends:

Welcome to the first newsletter from Harris & Clark. First, we’d like to offer a hearty thank you for all of your support. Our first month has now come and gone, and we are elated with the store’s progression.

This whirlwind of a month has evoked the full spectrum of emotion for our new business. Surprise- such as the tremendously popular O&CO oils; Delight-by your support and patronage, and of course a small business wouldn’t be complete without a bit of angst, ours coming in the form of refrigerators and credit card processing. On that note, we are pleased to announce (among other things) we now happily accept credit card payments. Here are some other items of interest:

ASO
Harris & Clark will be crafting customized gift baskets for the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Concert in Hutchenson Ferry Park on Friday August 10th. We are now taking basket orders for those attending the concert, so come by and let us help you build the perfect picnic.

Home Accounts
We have spent some time working on a system that best reflects the needs of our Home Accounts. As your grocer in Serenbe, our basic idea of service is responding to the varied needs of our community. This has many incarnations- an impromptu gift, or partnering to coordinate the perfect spaghetti dinner.

So, we will address the service of the home account only to say that we will request payment on the 1st and 15th of each month. We’d love for account holders come in for a “Harris & Clark orientation”, a walk through the space, and a chat on how we may better service you.

Food School
Many of you reading our email at this moment have joined in anticipation of this very topic. We will announce a fall class schedule next week, so stay tuned.

Thank You all for reading.

Hi Guys….just wanted you to know how much I enjoyed my first H&C shopping experience and all the things I stuffed into my basket. The mozarella was delicious in my caprese salad; dilly beans and artichoke pickles have been great condiments in this stiffling heat and “stretch” any cold casual assortment I’ve been calling dinner. Can’t wait to try the strawberry preserves — maybe with a batch of fresh scones — and that gorgeous bottle of tupelo honey. See you again soon!
