This is why our Food School is more than just “Cooking Classes”

We have been hearing about the “Food to Table” movement for years now. A farmer delivers fresh produce to a caring Chef that prepares it for his, or her, guests. Get it, Farm to Table. Now middle people, no 5 days of travel, no international flights for the produce. We love it. Maybe it’s the way thing should be.

Last week our Food School showed us that “Farm to Store” is just as valuable an idea. We realized that we are blessed to have an multi-acre organic farm less than 300 yards from our store’s front door. Wow. And to have such a passionate farmer as Farmer Paige caring for the land, and the food, is even more of a sign and God is smiling upon us.
