What’s for Dinner?…… Greek!……. Food School with chef/ owner Helen Swanston of Swan’s Nest Bed & Breakfast, located in Crete, Greece – Saturday, November 22nd

Savor the wonderful tastes of Greece with an authentic Greek chef Helen Swanston. Helen is a retired teacher who inherited a beautiful Bed & Breakfast in Crete. She has owned and operated this successful get away for 6 years and we are privileged that Helen is bringing her popular Greek Cooking Class that she offers at Swan’s Bed & Breakfast to Harris & Clark Saturday, November 22nd from 4-6pm. Learn the artistry of working with a Greek staple, phyllo dough. We will stuff the phyllo dough with juicy chicken and homemade béchamel sauce. Also, we’ll learn how to make a classic eggplant dish which is simply baked with tomatoes, onions and cheese. This is a hands on class, so get your knife skills ready! Then Helen will finish the afternoon of our Greek experience with a delicious and simple walnut cake. Come get out of the cold and get a taste of Greek life.
